Description
The PrOut@Work Foundation honors outstanding queer corporate networks with the Rising Star Award 2026. These networks must have been active for no more than two years and already demonstrate impressive commitment to social cohesion and workplace diversity. Newly established newcomers who deploy their resources purposefully and work in close cooperation with diversity management and corporate leadership are the focus of this nationwide award. The goal is to increase the visibility of queer diversity in companies, create recognition, and provide impetus for sustainable diversity initiatives.
Applications can be submitted until July 5, 2026. Required are a short introductory video (maximum 3 minutes) as well as supplementary documents on ongoing initiatives (file formats png, jpg, jpeg, or pdf, each up to 5 MB). Evaluation criteria include, in particular, the effectiveness and reach of the network, efficiency in resource utilization, and the quality of collaboration with relevant decision-makers within the company. Potential awardees should outline their founding story, milestones achieved, and planned development steps, as well as the network setup and existing sponsorship structures. The award offers winners not only media attention but also a strong signal of appreciation and respect toward queer employees and their allies throughout Germany.
