Department 11 Social Affairs, Labour and Integration is a specialized department of the Office of the Styrian Provincial Government, based in Graz. It is responsible for the implementation and further development of social legislation in Styria – for example, within the framework of the Styrian Social Assistance, Disability, Child and Youth Welfare, Violence Protection, Basic Care, and Housing Support Acts. Furthermore, it administers funding in the social sector, particularly training and apprenticeship grants, and serves as the secretariat for various social committees and institutions.

Department 11 primarily serves the residents of Styria who are predominantly low-income or in special life situations. Its target group includes, in particular, people with disabilities, children and adolescents, senior citizens, families in need, as well as apprentices and trainees who require financial assistance to secure their livelihood and education.
