About the funder

The Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK) is a supreme federal authority of the Republic of Austria. It is responsible for the development and implementation of labour market, social, health, care, and consumer protection policies. In addition to legislation and administration, the ministry supports projects in areas such as disability assistance, health promotion, long-term care, victim support, consumer protection, senior citizen policy, and voluntary engagement through funding programs and guidelines.

Mission & Vision

The BMASGPK aims to strengthen social cohesion in Austria, provide all citizens with a solidarity-based healthcare system as well as secure working and living conditions, and protect the rights of consumers. Through needs-based funding and initiatives, the Ministry promotes equal opportunities, social inclusion, and societal participation.

Target groups

The funding programs and measures of the BMASGPK are primarily aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, research institutions, and public bodies in Austria that implement projects in the fields of social affairs, health, care, and consumer protection. The goal is to promote innovative services for all age and target groups, especially in underserved regions, and to improve the quality of existing services.
