About the funder
The Ministry for Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas and Environment Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the highest state authority responsible for the sustainable development and protection of the natural foundations of life in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It oversees the areas of environmental and nature conservation, agricultural policy, rural infrastructure, as well as measures for climate change adaptation. The ministry develops statewide concepts and funding programs to preserve biodiversity, strengthen agricultural enterprises, and make rural regions viable for the future.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to establish Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as a model for sustainable agriculture, livable rural areas, and effective environmental protection. We support innovative projects and emphasize close cooperation with municipalities, agricultural enterprises, nature conservation organizations, and civil society to harmonize climate and environmental protection with economic development.
