Mission & Vision

Our mission is to improve the quality of life and participation of all citizens in Baden-Württemberg. We are committed to an effective social system, fair working conditions, and high-quality healthcare. In doing so, we work in partnership with municipalities, associations, and other stakeholders to develop sustainable and needs-based solutions.

Target groups

The offerings and funding programs of the Ministry are aimed at people in various life situations in Baden-Württemberg: from socially disadvantaged groups to employees, as well as patients and service providers in the healthcare sector. Municipalities, welfare associations, employer associations, and educational stakeholders are also addressed as partners in social, labor market, and health-related matters.
