Mission & Vision

We, the staff of the Studienbeihilfenbehörde, support students on their educational journey through information, counseling, and funding. We see ourselves as a service-oriented institution, where responsible conduct and mutual trust shape our interactions. Openness to criticism, willingness to learn, and appreciation are as important to us as a positive working environment and continuous development. Our goal is to enable equal opportunities in tertiary education through high-quality services and the efficient use of public funds.

Target groups

Potential clients are students in the tertiary education sector, particularly at Austrian universities, universities of applied sciences, teacher training colleges, theological institutions, private colleges, private universities, and conservatories. Information and advisory services are also utilized by parents and prospective students seeking information about study funding opportunities.
