Mission & Vision
Department 11 aims to strengthen social justice and societal inclusion in Styria. Our mission is to dismantle barriers through demand-oriented funding instruments and collaborative partnerships, to create sustainable qualification and employment opportunities, and to promote awareness of human rights and civil courage. We support active participation in the labor market and social life to ensure solidarity and cohesion across all population groups.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, social enterprises, and public institutions that plan and implement projects for socially disadvantaged target groups. This includes measures to engage long-term unemployed and labor market-disconnected individuals, services for people with disabilities, initiatives for the integration of refugees and immigrants, as well as projects to strengthen civil courage and human rights competence. Individuals and self-help groups implementing qualification and employment programs may also submit funding applications.
