The Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) is the central development bank of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. As a legal entity under public law with a banking license from BaFin and a balance sheet total of over €20 billion, it has been supporting businesses, private individuals, municipalities, and public institutions since June 1, 2003. In close coordination, IB.SH combines its own credit resources with funding from the state, federal government, and the EU. As a 100% state-owned institution with a AAA rating, it promotes investments in the economy, housing and urban development, environmental and energy projects, as well as labor market and educational measures. With around 800 employees, IB.SH makes a significant contribution to sustainable growth, innovation, and good living conditions in the true north.
