About the funder

The Office of the Burgenland Provincial Government is the central administrative authority of the Austrian federal state of Burgenland. As a modern service provider, it performs sovereign tasks (e.g., approvals, inspections) as well as commercial administration (e.g., operation of institutions) in the interest of the citizens. The provincial administration operates within a clear organizational structure – from the Provincial Office Directorate through five administrative groups to seven district authorities – and, with around 2,000 employees, ensures a prompt, competent, and service-oriented handling of all matters.
