The Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, and Building is a state ministry headquartered in the Wangenheim Palace in Hanover. It was established on February 11, 1947, and has been operating under this name since May 2025 (previously: Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Building, and Digitalization). Its main responsibilities include economic policy and economic development, location development, support for small and medium-sized enterprises and crafts, transport infrastructure, as well as building and housing.
