Department 10 of the Carinthian State Government is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of funding programs in the areas of agriculture, forestry, and rural development. It manages both state funds and EU funds (e.g., EAFRD, European Maritime and Fisheries Fund), supports agricultural and forestry infrastructure projects (forest roads, agricultural technology), promotes hunting traditions as well as regional initiatives, and provides advice on agricultural legal matters. The processing and monitoring of the proper use of funds are also among its core tasks.

Our goal is to promote the sustainable development of agriculture and forestry in Carinthia and to ensure the quality of life in rural areas. We establish transparent funding conditions and support innovation, environmental protection, and regional value creation to guarantee a future-oriented agriculture and an intact cultural landscape.

The funding programs are aimed at agricultural and forestry enterprises, forest owners and communities, agricultural communities, hunting associations, training initiatives, and other natural and legal persons active in Carinthia in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and rural development.
