Ernst von Siemens Kunststiftung

The Ernst von Siemens Art Foundation was established in 1983 by Ernst von Siemens as a private foundation under civil law and endowed with a substantial capital corpus from his private assets as well as ongoing contributions from Siemens AG. Its aim is to secure significant works of fine art, applied art objects, ancient manuscripts, and inventory catalogs for public museums, libraries, and exhibition venues in Germany. Through unbureaucratic, swift, and generous support, it enables acquisitions of museum significance, substantial restorations, scholarly publications, and outstanding exhibition projects.
