As a public-law institution, the ILB supports the state of Brandenburg and other public entities in fulfilling their responsibilities. Its primary focus is the promotion of public and private investment projects in the areas of economy, infrastructure, labor market, housing construction, as well as business start-ups and agricultural development. With tailored financing instruments – ranging from loans and grants to equity capital – and funds from the state, federal government, and EU, the ILB accompanies its clients from consultation through to disbursement.
