The Funding Navigator continuously scans for new funding programs and matches them with your project ideas. When new suitable programs are found, you can be notified automatically by email.

Activating Notifications

Setting Up Email Alerts

You can easily enable email notifications in your account settings:

1. Go to Settings: Click your profile icon and select "Settings"
2. Notifications: Navigate to the "Email Notifications" section
3. Enable: Turn on the "Match Notifications" option
4. Choose Frequency: Decide how often you want to be notified
5. Save: Confirm your settings

Notification Frequency

You can choose between different notification intervals:

Weekly Summary

• Recommended for: Most organizations
• Content: All new matches from the past week
• Delivery: Every Monday at 9:00 AM
• Advantage: Clear overview, not too frequent

Monthly Summary

• Recommended for: Organizations with few active project ideas
• Content: All new matches from the past month
• Delivery: On the 1st of each month at 9:00 AM
• Advantage: Compact overview without frequent emails

Instant Notifications

• Recommended for: Time-sensitive projects
• Content: Each new match individually
• Delivery: Within 1 hour of the match
• Advantage: Fastest response to new opportunities

Email Structure

• Subject: Number of new matches and time period
• Summary: Brief overview of key information
• Match List: All new funding programs with details
• Direct Links: Quick access to the programs on the platform

Information per Match

• Program Name: Title of the funding program
• Funder: Who provides the funding
• Funding Amount: Maximum funding amounts
• Deadline: Important dates and deadlines
• Match Score: How well the program fits your project idea
• Direct Link: Go straight to the detailed program view

Personalization

Emails are automatically tailored to your organization:

• Relevant Matches: Only programs that fit your project ideas
• Priority Sorting: Best matches appear at the top
• Organization Name: Personalized greeting in the email
• Project Assignment: Which project idea matches which program

Managing Notifications

Adjusting Settings

You can change your email settings at any time:

Change Frequency

• Flexible: Switch between weekly, monthly, or instant notifications
• Immediate Effect: Changes apply from the next notification
• No interruptions: Already scheduled emails are adjusted accordingly

Temporarily Pause

• Vacation or Break: Temporarily disable notifications
• Easy Reactivation: Turn them back on with one click
• No missed matches: All matches remain available in your dashboard

Unsubscribe

If you no longer wish to receive email notifications:

In Settings

• Account Settings: Disable notifications there
• Immediate Effect: No further emails will be sent
• Reactivatable anytime: You can turn them back on later

Via Email Link

• Unsubscribe Link: Included in every notification email
• One-Click Unsubscribe: Quickly disable notifications directly from the email
• Confirmation: You’ll receive a confirmation of your unsubscription

Solving Delivery Issues

If you are not receiving notifications:

Common Causes

• Spam Filter: Emails end up in the spam folder
• Company Filter: Corporate email filters block external emails
• Incorrect Email: Typo in the registered email address
